Frequently Asked Questions
What is 75 Dates?
75 Dates is a wellness-forward social club and singles community that blends fitness, fun, and intentional connection. Whether you’re looking for love, new friends, or just something better than another awkward app convo, our events offer a fresh take on dating and socializing.
Who are your events for?
Our events are designed for single adults who care about physical, mental, or spiritual wellness. If you’d rather meet people doing yoga, hiking, or laughing through a speed dating round than swiping from your couch, you’re our kind of human.
Do I have to be single to attend?
Most of our events are geared toward singles, but they are open to anyone who values connection and good vibes. You’re welcome to bring a “wing” (friend) to many of our events—just check the event description.
Is this a dating service or an event company?
Both, kind of. We started as an alternative to dating apps, but quickly found that real connections happen best offline. Now we host in-person and virtual events, with optional profile matching through our platform. We’re not your grandma’s matchmaker, but we do love a good love story.
How do matches work after an event?
If you attend one of our speed dating or curated events, you’ll have the chance to submit private interest after the event. If there’s a mutual match, we’ll let you both know and connect you through our platform.
What kinds of events do you host?
Think: co-ed bootcamps with social mixers, speed dating (with a twist), wellness workshops, walk-and-talks, and more. Every event is thoughtfully designed to be low-pressure, high-connection, and way more fun than just another awkward drink at a bar.
Where are your events held?
Right now, we’re focused on the DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia (DMV) area. Some events are virtual and open to anyone, anywhere. We’re expanding soon—so sign up and stay in the loop.
What if I’m shy or introverted?
We design events with all personality types in mind. You’ll never be forced to speak in front of a group or do anything uncomfortable. We include light icebreakers and structure to help ease into things—plus, our hosts are trained to make everyone feel welcome.
What should I wear to a fitness event?
Come dressed to move and mingle. Athletic wear is encouraged, but you do you. The vibe is inclusive and come-as-you-are.
Do you vet or screen attendees?
We don’t conduct background checks, but we do take community safety seriously. All attendees must agree to our code of conduct, and anyone violating our guidelines may be removed or banned from future events.
Are your events LGBTQ+ friendly?
We aim to foster an inclusive and affirming space for everyone. At this time, most of our events are structured for heterosexual pairings—but we’re actively working to launch LGBTQ+ specific events in the near future. If you’re part of the queer community and want to help shape these offerings, we’d love to hear from you.
How much do events cost?
Pricing varies by event. Some are free or as little as $5, but most are between $20–$40.
Do you offer refunds if I can’t make it?
Tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise stated, but you can transfer your spot to a friend—just email us 24 hours in advance.
How do I join or get more involved?
Easy. Head to 75Dates.com, sign up for our free list, and cou’ll be the first to know about upcoming events and new member perks.
Setting up Profiles, Mutual Matching & How It All Works
Do I need to create a profile to attend an event?
Yes please—once you register for an event, you’ll receive a link to complete your profile. It only takes a few minutes, and it helps us set the stage for better connections during the event. The more details you share, the better the match experience will be, but we only require your first name, age, gender, and a photo.
Why does completing my profile matter?
We use your answers to help facilitate smarter, more compatible matches—whether it’s potential partners or friends. A fully completed profile gives others a clearer picture of who you are and helps us pair you with people who actually align with your lifestyle and preferences. Half-done profiles = half-baked matches.
What happens after I buy a ticket?
Once you grab your ticket, you’ll be prompted to create your profile. You’ll also receive event details including the location (for in-person events) or link (for virtual events). You’ll get reminders leading up to the event—and we recommend completing your profile no later than 24 hours before.
How do I check in at the event?
For in-person events, just check-in with the host and you’ll receive a link to check-in. For virtual events, login instructions will be emailed ahead of time. Arrive early so we can get everyone ready to go.
Will people see my profile?
It’ll be visible during the event and after the matches are sent. In both cases, last name, phone number, and email address remain hidden.
How does the matching process work?
During and after the event, you’ll be able to privately indicate who you’d like to connect with again – on a date or as a friend. If there’s a mutual match, we’ll send you an email approximately 24 hours after the event ends. You can DM using our platform until you choose to share contact info. No awkward rejections, no guesswork—just simple, mutual connection.
Can I edit my profile later?
Yes! You can update your profile anytime before or after the event by using your original login link. If you plan to attend future events, keeping your profile updated will give you the best chance at finding people who genuinely align with you.
Do I need to make a new profile for every event?
Nope. Once your profile is created, you can reuse and update it for future events. Easy and efficient, just like our mixers.
What if I forget to fill out my profile?
We’ll send you gentle reminders—but if you don’t complete it in time, you might miss out on matches. So if you’re showing up, show up fully. It only takes a few minutes, and it’s worth it.
What is a 75 Dates Brand Ambassador?
Brand Ambassadors are the heart of our in-person event experience. They represent 75 Dates at our co-hosted fitness and social events, help set the vibe, welcome guests, and ensure everything runs smoothly. Think: part host, part hype squad, part connector.
Where are Brand Ambassadors located?
Right now, we’re building our ambassador squad in the DMV area (Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia). As we grow, we’ll be expanding to other cities—so if you’re interested, don’t be shy.
Do Brand Ambassadors get paid?
Yes. We believe in valuing your time and energy. Brand Ambassadors are paid per event and also receive free admission to future events, plus exclusive perks and training.
What makes a great Brand Ambassador?
You’re a people person with a passion for wellness and connection. You’re organized, reliable, and not afraid to spark conversation or help guests feel at ease. Bonus points if you’ve got hosting, fitness, or event experience.
How do I apply to be a Brand Ambassador?
Head to our Brand Ambassador page (or our main menu) to fill out a short application. We’ll review your submission and reach out if it’s a match.
Can I be both a member and a Brand Ambassador?
Absolutely. Many of our ambassadors started as attendees. You’ll just wear a different hat (and maybe a name tag) when you’re on duty.
What kinds of collaborators do you work with?
We collaborate with gyms, studios, coaches, wellness professionals, and brands who align with our mission: to help singles connect through health-forward, fun-forward experiences. If you’re into movement, mindset, or matchmaking—we want to hear from you.
Do you pay collabors?
We offer multiple collaboration models. Some collaborators are paid a flat fee, some do revenue share, and some offer value-based partnerships in exchange for exposure, lead gen, or event perks. It depends on the event format and our shared goals.
How can my gym or wellness brand partner with 75 Dates?
Easy. Head to 75Dates.com/collaborate (or our home page) to fill out our collab inquiry form. Tell us about your audience and goals—we’ll chat with you to explore if it’s a fit.
Do you offer exclusivity for gym partners?
In certain cities and categories, yes. If you’re interested in being our go-to gym in your neighborhood, let’s talk. We love building long-term partnerships with aligned brands.
Can collaborators promote their services at events?
Yes, but it has to feel organic. We want our events to stay connection-focused, not salesy. We’ll work with you to make sure your presence adds value (and feels authentic) to our community.
